"Life is not a journey to the grave with the
intention to arrive safely in a pretty and
well-preserved body, but rather to skid in
broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and
loudly proclaiming: Wow!! What a ride!"

Why Has the Summer of Rob Been Renamed to The Summer
of Others?
The "Summer
of Rob" was originally an idea for Rob to
travel the country, meeting people and "taking a
break" in the process.
Here's the
deal. Rob has decided now, to ride his bike across
the country to raise money and awareness for the
homeless teens in Central PA. This is a real problem
and since Rob does have some time on his hands, this
is a great way to make a statement.
Rob is
going to take the roads less traveled while he is on
his journey. Taking the Trans America Trail and
ending up in Seattle he is focused on making a
difference in the lives of others. East, west, north and south... this
summer it will be the journey, not the destination
that will determine where he goes...
If you would like to join
Rob, fill out the form to the left. |

The Tick Tock of My Soul Clock
We’re living in this thing they call a “rat-race”
Everybody’s moving at a high speed pace
Everyday we run so fast, that we’ve forgotten how to walk
But now I’m gonna slow down and move at the speed of my
“Soul Clock”
|
The Clock of My Soul lets me stop to lend a hand
To spend some time with the ones I love
And to try and understand…
To
see the beauty that is in the world
Made by the hand of God
…and
I’m gonna take
the time to be friend and offer up my heart
And show some love to my fellow man as he tries to make a
start
To
travel through his fast paced world at a slower speed
And live the kind of life that he was born to lead
Chorus |

The Clock of My Soul let’s me stop to lend a hand
To
spend some time(s) with the ones I love
And to try and understand…
To
see the beauty that is in the world
Made by the hand of God
…and
Now I can see that miracles in all that God has
made
I
can visit with you overnight and be glad that I stayed
I
can talk with you in the morning as we walk around the block
Walk and talk and laugh and sing at the speed of our “Soul
Clock”.
